Milo Duke played Rock Guitar to a small audience of young and old, on July 20. To quote one of the older listeners, "The best rock music I have ever heard, no amplifier!” Milo admitted it was a little spooky without the protection of a microphone, but he handled it well. He played music from his CD and other original works.

John Elwood and Sally Burkhart stepped up to replace Gefilte Trout on August 24. A member of the Gefilte Trout band had a medical emergency and the band canceled 4 days before their concert. John and Sally made much merriment with original and traditional tunes for voice, dulcimer and other homemade instruments. Thank you John and Sally, it was wonderful.

Steptoe played bluegrass, roots and new acoustic music to a full church on September 21. Members of the band are Paul Hill, Paul Anders, Von Walden and Tina Hilding. They played music from their CD and other works using a wide variety of instruments and vocal harmonies. What a great concert to close the Dancing around Maypole 2008 season.
